Hi Dave...my sincere condolensces on your loss. Losing a friend like that is never easy, and my wife and I both pray you will find a suitable companion to fill the void.

Del
Great job on the net Thursday night. The fruit tree topic is one that I know a very limited amount about. I am doing research myself on that. I did work for a farmer that also had apple orchards and I asked a lot of questions while I was there. As a general rule I was told that dwarf trees will bear fruit in 1-3 years. Semi dwarf will bear fruit in 3-5 years and standard trees will bear fruit in 5-15 years. There is a lot more to picking the right ones than I originally thought. My suggestion would be to find a local orchard and ask questions about what trees do well in your area.

Del, I don't think I would really want to have to eat rat either...But as they say desperate times.......

Dave, only you would take to opportunity to HAVE to drink a beer to measure the empty weight of the bottle....You could have just poured it down the drain!!! Ummmm but that would be alcohol abuse.............

Thanks Del for always seeming to be there when needed you truly don't know how much it means to us. My wife's Mother is back at home and doing much better but it has been a very stressful week for the entire family. Tomorrow my Wife's Father is going in to finalize with the Doctors about surgery that he needs to have done as well. I hope that everyone here can help out with the APRN for the immediate future as this is going to be a real rough time for me being around. I will do my best but I also have to be there for my Wife and her parents during this troublesome time. Everyone please keep my Wife and her wonderful parents in your prayers.
Thanks & 73

Well I did the math after drinking the beer in the bottle and weighing it. The best I can do after a couple shots of Jack to wash down the beer I had to drink to get the empty bottle weight is 109,090 empty Miller beer bottles to equal 48,000 pounds of crushed glass. I did not weight the Jack bottle because if I would have drank all the Jack I probably could not have done the math even with my calculator.
Hope that helps.
